Multiple Sclerosis (MS) video is in its beginning stages. Jenn Gebhart and I are putting together this video. We will deliver an amazing video to help people with MS feel better and in some cases improve physically and mentally to achieve a better quality of life.
This all began November of 2011 at a workshop lunch break. Jenn presented to me the idea of putting together a media to help people with MS; I was immediately on board. Between Jenn’s experience in teaching MS Yoga for the past nine years and myself having MS and teaching MS Yoga we believe we can deliver Real Yoga for people with different levels of disability.
I was fortunate to have two ladies from Heidelberg University (Biology Professor and HR) who said they may be able to help put the video together. A meeting was set up and went very well. A month latter I was notified that a team of students was put together that would be taking part in the production of this professional video.
Jenn and I have emailed, talked and met several times over the last few months coming up with the outline for the video.
Recently we met Timothy (TJ) Wasserman (videographer and editor for video) to discuss what works for all of us so it can mesh and be ready to videotape this fall when the students return. We walked away feeling great about the meeting and we’re all heading in the same direction.
Who We Are:
Jennifer Gebhart, began practicing Hatha style Yoga in 2000. Currently teaches yoga for Multiple Sclerosis, Prenatal Yoga, Mommy and Baby Yoga and private classes.
She also has a blog called “Yoga And Inspiration”, www.yogaandinspiration.com.
Timothy (TJ) Wasserman, is a Junior at Heidelberg University, studying a Bachelor of
Arts degree in both Media and Music. He started editing videos in high school, where
he helped create videos for the morning announcements and other special events
around town. At Heidelberg, he is a member of the Singing Collegians Show Choir,
Concert Choir, and various other music-related groups including the music honorary,
Tau Mu Sigma. TJ has worked for a short amount of time at Heidelberg’s own news
station, WHEI-TV10, where he has done everything from directing, to audio, to camera
work. Also an active member of Rho Eta Delta, a fraternity that does community service in Tiffin. Most recently, he worked on a short educational video for Heidelberg’s new student
orientation campaign entitled “Destination: Heidelberg.”
Chuck Burmeister (Yoga Chuck), for my info go to the “About Chuck” tab above.
The video completion date is projected for next summer 2013 or sooner. So far no setbacks but we have a lot of ground to cover to do it right.
Stay tuned for updates that I will post every month or two.
Healthy & Happy,
