The Architecture of Quietness—Rodney Yee Teacher Training

Profound quiet and peace arise when the mind and body are aligned and flowing in the great river of the present moment. The present moment as a quiet container of emptiness is the foundation for listening, and it allows us to perceive our dharma clearly in the context of the whole. This engenders honest, right action and the end of internal conflict. In this workshop we will explore how the physical structure of the body supports ease and freedom, leaving way for the winds of the body to move without resistance and yet be contained. We’ll also inquire into the philosophical concepts and practices of yoga that prepare the mind to empty. This is the playground for our yoga intensive this year. As always, we will develop and elaborate on these ideas through pranayama, asana, relaxation and discussion. See you then.

Dates: Wednesday, September 5 & Thursday, September 6, 8:30 to 5:00p; Friday, September 7, 8:30 to 4:00p
