The Columbus MS walk was April 20th with an expected 3000 walkers. It was a smooth day of volunteering. Helped set up and keep stocked, the finish food stop. Others that volunteered with me were my wife, sister, sisters husband and their son. We had a great morning, meeting and working with many new friends. Everyone worked hard making the walk an enjoyable experience.
Carol and I taking a picture break.
Caught my sister and her husband off guard as they separate a couple thousand plates. My nephew Devin also starting before 7am and worked until noon as a volunteer at the Columbus MS walk. Nothing left but plate separation before the rush.
The Columbus MS walk has been located at the Columbus Zoo for several years and it's a great location drawing walkers in before the zoo opens then they can spend the rest of the day at the zoo.
This Saturday April 27 Carol and I will be at the Findlay, Ohio MS walk with my nephew, Austin. Carol and Austin will be volunteering and I'll have a table set up for Yoga education. I'll have information, answer questions and demo poses for interested walkers that may help with MS related and other issues. I'll also have a Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis DVD playing. We are in the editing stages of this video and it will be available by the end of summer. You will be able to register for a chance to win this Yoga Video, one ticket will be drawn at the end of the walk. You do not need to be present to win.
