"Stop Everything You Do and Watch This!"

When you watch something like this you think the world is a good place. Then we turn on the television and see Rebecca Sedwick of Florida committed suicide due to bullying.

Some things we have no control over, but the things we do, we should change to improve. I think we make the world a good or bad place by creating our surrounding environment the way we want it. We choose if we want to be good or bad, happy or sad by our own actions and the people we surround ourselves with.

There will always be ugly in the world and we can't control the whole world but it's amazing what we can do with what is right in front of us. Who knows maybe the good will continue to build if it starts with us.

I've read "If you smile at every person you pass you eventually will save a life". I believe it. Sometimes it's the simplest of things that can change someones direction.

I'll end with a good story that happened to me the other day and brought a positive energy into the room. I was at the post office on Tuesday, the day after the holiday, so it was busy, and everyone was silently waiting in line. The lady behind me, Brenda, directed a comment to the lady in front of me, whom she didn't know, saying it's like being at the IRS office. The comments took off from there with the three of us engaging in laughter and funny exchanges. It broke the ice in the whole room. I heard one gentleman telling the attendant "I want what she's been drinking". The two ladies have my business cards now so maybe I'll see them in my Yoga class. And to Brenda who changed the atmosphere in the room, it's Yoga Chuck not Yogurt Chuck, as she tried introducing me to the group of people behind us creating more smiles and laughter.

You don't have to look far to see the good or we can be more like Brenda and make it good.

Happy & Healthy,
Yogurt Yoga Chuck
